Michael Jackson-ish Zombie Pulled from PvZ

The King of Pop will no longer terrorize your garden.!!

Remember the cool dancing zombie in Plants vs. Zombies that looked like Michael Jackson all decked out in his sweet red leather "Thriller" jumpsuit? Well, he's a memory now. PopCap is endeavoring to update all versions of Plants vs. Zombies, thus removing the MJ lookalike zombie. The iPhone and iPad versions have been updated to replace the dancing zombie with something more generic. Expect the same to happen with PvZ on Xbox Live Arcade. While updating existing the PC versions on PvZ will be a far trickier matter, expect PopCap to make sure any future versions of the game do not feature the character.

PopCap issued a statement to IGN about the decision to replace the zombie:

The Estate of Michael Jackson objected to our use of the "dancing zombie" in Plants vs. Zombies based on its view that the zombie too closely resembled Michael Jackson. After receiving this objection, PopCap made a business decision to retire the original "dancing zombie" and replace it with a different "dancing zombie" character for future builds of Plants vs. Zombies on all platforms. The phase-out and replacement process is underway.

It's unfortunate that the homage to the King of Pop was removed from Plants vs. Zombies, but with the image of Jackson at a real premium right now – UbiSoft just announced a new Michael Jackson game at E3 2010 – PopCap undoubtedly wanted to avoid any legal issues that the Jackson estate could viably raise.

Extra Money from Graves

A simple way to make a few easy bucks is on any level with tombstones, make sure you save up enough sun to destroy them after you have killed the last zombie. You still get money from them, and you CAN get plants and Diamonds, too, if you're lucky. This works best in Whack-A-Zombie - just whack the zombie far enough away from the tombstone that you don't accidentally pick up the money bag instead of a coin.

Challenge: Zen Garden Marigolds all of one colour

...

Has anybody attempted to get a garden full of marigolds all the same colour ?

It seemed to me that white/off-white and yellow were the two most common colours I got from Crazy D, so i began to try to get a full garden of just one of those colours. Yellow eventually became the dominant colour in my garden, so i sold everything else in my quest ... now i've got 29/32 spaces filled, but i've not had a yellow one for ages now ...

Wonder of something wacky would happen if i could complete it, but i dont suppose it will ...

Oh, and another thing, of the 29 yellows i have, 14 face left and 15 face right - got them sorted on each half of the screen facing the same way, so when i first go to the zen garden, they all sway in time before moving out of sync ... like that

UPDATE:-

Anyway, i managed to get the three marigolds in two shops at crazy daves.

Here is the result - Check out the bottom right one !

Nearly had a perfect 50/50 of left and right facing ones. Still, i was hoping something would happen but alas ...

Now to sell them all and go after the plants from the levels

Challenge:- CAN YOU COLLECT A GARDEN FULL OF White or ANY OTHER COLOUR MARIGOLDS? AS an additional challenge, TRY to collect them 16 pointing left and 16 pointing right. Post your pictures here in the comments section.:p
